I recently heard rumors of a suspicious figure withdrawing rubles to buy an authentic croissant near the cliffs of Dover, for what it is worth.

what happened to Day 1 .... how come only day 2 appears and not a running diary !!! Good grief must we always live in the present moment - is there no time to reflect on past achievements???I'm sending your blog site to Dennis and Nancy, Doug and Barb and everyone I know basically!...And I actually watched City TV this morning waiting for a snippet but no such luck- just the ueual inane crazy -making -non -news by 12 year olds... Nancy is hearing about it in Toronto though~!!!!.,...much love and hope your first day of paddling was a huge success.... mom

Alright, that's better.  Spent last 3 days at the Sailing club in Herne Bay.  Grassy knolls right on the seaside, the first free standing clock tower (built in 1837) and communal showers... what could be finer.  At sunsets I feel often like I'll be sent to war soon, and...
