I've been visiting my family in Argentina my whole life and have most recently been living in Buenos Aires for a year and a half. Besides eating and living well in Buenos Aires, I'm addicted to travel, and have covered most of the country over the years.

Favorite places I've been:

Everywhere in Argentina; Colombia (Bogotá, Cali, Medellin and the coast); New Orleans; Cairo, Egypt; Highway 1, USA; the Croatian coast; Kyoto/Tokyo, Japan; NYC; and of course, Chicago, IL.

Places I want to go to:

Ireland, and China. Oh yeah, and I'd like to take a small yacht around the Mediterranean, starting in Portugal and then working my way around the coasts. First, I have to land a ton of money and learn to sail.

I was born and raised in Chi-town. I've worked with(in) schools and community organizations in Providence, Bogotá and New York City. I am currently in Buenos Aires, dedicating time to my writing, photography and ideas.

Travel style:

I always travel with a shoulder bag and my camera. Mostly, I like to go bus to bus, trip half-planned. But sometimes a car is necessary to really get into those out-of-reach nooks.

I served up an asado (Argentine BBQ) complete with two different cuts of beef, chorizos, morcillas and provoleta for 12 here in Buenos Aires.
