I like to travel by myself or with friends, usually independently but sometimes on a small group tour. And I don't do relaxation very well, every minute has to be filled with something!

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I was travelling in Egypt and navigated through Islamic Cairo based on the shape of the streets - at the time I couldn't read Arabic and none of the street signs were in English.

Cos there are so many places I haven't been yet!
