Portland, Maine is high up there, too.

About me: I love to travel, but I'm a very nervous flyer. I love road trips, but worry about my environmental impact. I am a grad. student working on my Master of Public Health degree. My focus is on maternal and child health with particular interest in the health of women in the jail and prison systems, and health disparities in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. I was trained as a teacher and have, over the years, gravitated towards the public health field which I hope will provide many travel opportunities!
I am a contributer to Girlistic Magazine (

I live on the northwest side of Chicago and I'm SO ready for Spring and Summer in the city!
