presently settled into barcelona bliss where i continue to disover nuances of the city in every block. love chocolate, swing dancing, taking wrong turns, architectural details, missing the train and see what adventure awaits!

love eating hot bread from spanish bakeries, listening to unexpected rag tag bands in the streets of barcelona playing medevil music, reading in bed, working with clay,watching butterflies, and setting tables. high heel shoes and hiking boots.

Travel style:

ideally i lovestaying in five star hotels every night of travel. have only done so one time and someone else paid. so i settle for three stars. i like a combo of being with people and being alone. i write and draw more when i am alone. A good glass of wine and tapas in an outdoor cafe is the best!

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

i get lost and find surprises. like no place to stay in menton and ended up in a village, souspel, france. peaceful with a open air market right outside my hotel window. every wrong turn is a right turn.

there is a big, fat, wonderful world out there and i am going to see it all!
