Oh wow, I'm in your shoes exactly with Hangul - it reads like a charm, but damned if I know what the words mean!

by aya | 2007/11/28

:) Exactly!

Are you living in/moving to Korea? Just traveling through?
As for travel tips, hmm...
I love hanging out in Hongdae. If you like coffee shops and/or waffles, check out D'Avant. And for a chill bar, there's Nabi. Oh, and my favorite sandwich shop in the world, the lovely Jenny's Cafeteria, visible on this map toward the lower right side.

Is this the kind of info you're looking for? If you're traveling all over the country, I recommend visiting Gyeongju and Seoraksan National Park. Very pretty there. Let me know if you have questions! Cheers!

The images that fill a day become mundane with routine. First, there’s a set of keys strung on a silver ring, or a glassy switch on the coffeemaker that glows garnet all morning, or a toothbrush -- one which might be lavender or turquoise, or some other color. I can’t remember. These things have...
