I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

i lived there for a few months, became friends with locals, played a futbol game, and learned to cook a local dish.

Why I travel:

there are a buhzillion different ways of life.... i learn about and appreciate all that conscious life has to offer by experiencing other cultures: customs, languages, foods, drinks, dances...
