I love traveling and am up for going pretty much anywhere except for a war zone. My favorite thing to do is getting to know the locals and experiencing their culture through their eyes... Getting invited to stay with a local Fijian family, okay! Meeting some local Kiwis in New Zealand who offer a ride up the coast, okay! Finding a friend who needs to run his new boat's motor in and around the Whitsunday Islands, Australia, okay! I don't usually plan too much ahead of time except for the plane ticket - It's fun to have ideas for where to go and do a bit of research, but if something comes up, there's no problem changing the plan and going with the flow! There are so many places I never would've gone if I had a rigid plan and it feels good to let go of "plans" and just figure it out along the way! If I'm only going somewhere for a couple weeks, then maybe I'll plan a bit more, but if you're going for a month or more, just hopping on a plane and going!
