Places I want to go to:
Right now I want to try something tropical - I want to play in the water, surf, dive, snorkel. I'm just not sure where.... Tonga maybe? Suggestions?
About me:
Unique? Well, I like to travel - just like everyone else on this site. Does that make me un-unique? The more places I go, the more curious I become.
Activities I like - Jivamukti yoga, hanging out w/ friends, re-newed interest in golfing, tennis, cooking, art & painting, walking my dogs, really, it's a long list.
The salt flats are in Bolivia. Highly recommend a trip through there. I was down in Ushuaia about a year ago now. (Kind of crazy it was so long ago- it feels like it was last week). I will definitely try to get back down there and to Antarctica soon.
As for where I'm off to next.. unfortunately, the foreseeable future has me working with only 4 weeks off a year, so no major long term trips on the radar. I might try to go to Japan for a week of vacation though.. It's nice being on the west coast for a change. Asia and the south pacific aren't that far away..
That's really cool you went to Antarctica. I got to Ushuaia, ARG and tried to hop a boat down there, but they had stopped the passenger ships for the winter. -I then made a feeble attempt at getting on a tanker, but that failed miserably).
Anyway, like your pics. and I think denver's the bomb. even though i have never been there.
