About me:
I have a vagabond heart and love traveling, having been along the Pacific Coast (mainly Washington State) to the southwest (mainly in Arizona) and enjoyed (er--not really) the foreign nations of Korea, Kuwait and Iraq under the auspices of the U.S. Army.I usually define myself as a soldier, poet and father. I write decent poetry. I love to flirt and love being playful. I am willing to run full-heart into walls for the right person, but not everything that tumbles out of my mouth will be beautiful, nor always romantic or funny. I try, but sometimes, I fail.

Yes, this is a bad American service member story. Okay, maybe just not cruel as some, but up there in rudeness. (My opinion here.)

Me and a buddy were traveling (I'm not sure if it was headed to or from a Metallica concert) on a train around Seoul. I have a flair, for time to time, to act like I'm somebody...

The only time that I know that I had an AK-47 pointed at me was waiting for our break to be over at the gate. I was messing around with a local Iraqi Army soldier and we pointed our weapons at one another, semi in jest, I thought. The Hawai'ians there thought I was crazy as there was no way I could really...
