About me:

I work in a profession that has me traveling constantly: mostly throughout the US, rarely internationally. I've been to 39 of the 50 states in the US thus far (some of them too many times). I've spent time abroad, but never for more than a month at a time. After ten years of wandering, I'm looking forward to settling down and starting a family.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

Sitting in an Italian Pub, speaking English with a Romanian bar tender, speaking French with the owner from the Ivory Coast, and speaking Spanish with some of the owners friends from Venezuala.

Why I travel:

For work, and to forget about work.

Somewhere lost in the Sierra Nevadas.

Sitting on the Elwood Cliffs in Santa Barbara, sipping on a cold beer.
