Yoga In Saigon

I lucked out.  My apartment in Saigon is within a 100 meter radius of 6 pho noodle soup restaurants.  My new roommates, Erica and Dave, couldn't be friendler.

Best of all, I just discovered a really wonderful yoga studio just two blocks down the street.

Saigon Yoga is an oasis.  The facilities are top-notch and the two instructors I've taken classes from so far really know their asanas and set a relaxing tone.  Surprise, surprise, both of these instructors are originally from California.

Most of the classes are in English, but there's also a beginner class in Japanese, which I'm eager to try.

Prices are expensive for Vietnam, but there are a couple of deals which make the classes affordable.  Although one class is normally $14, I bought an introductory voucher good for one week of unlimited yoga for $25. Mention an ad in the expat zine AsiaLife and your first class is free.

Monthly and yearly unlimited yoga passes are affordable, and the studio is looking for assistants willing to trade time at the reception desk for free yoga.

The Saigon Yoga website has all the info you need.
