Caracas, dining at the Bia-RItz
|
www.biarritzbistro.com what more can I say? It's conveniently located in Paseo Las Mercedes, at Trasnocho level, where the cultural portino of Caracas meet for drinks, for people watching , for theater and movies that are not usually played in the rest of movie theaters. Biarritz is owned by Jackie Traverso, a well-known person within the high society of Caracas so you can expect the faces of the Bourgeoisie traveling by, but also, young entrepeneurs and even ocassional Chavistas will herad oin for a bite. The food is superb, the quality is that of a real French bistro and the prices are NOT bad at all. Sit at the bar to enjoy some chillout music, or placid jazz while sipping a nice cold glass of wine. . It's walking distance to Hotel Tamanaco, one of the better ones of the city, so no danger in crossing the street, but please don't wear a Rolex or jewelry around Caracas, in any case. |
