Eric B and Rakim - Paid In Full (Coldcut's 7 minutes of madness)

A little less obscure this week and an all time cross over classic. You know it, we love it...that's right - Eric B and Rakim's "Paid in Full" (Coldcut's 7 minutes of madness mix). I'm fairly certain that if you haven't heard this song before you have never been outside the house. And you have no radio in the house.

It came out in 1987 and made a huge impression on everybody with the ethnic samples used of a well known Egyptian singer. And if the funky beat of the remix doesn't do it for you take a spin with the OG. You can't go wrong with lyrics like "You scream I'm lazy, you must be crazy. Thought I was a donut, you tried to glaze me."
