Going to Paris!

When exactly are you going to Paris?
Late May 2009...we're flying in on a Monday, then leaving on Friday for Prague, and flying back home the following Thursday from Paris.
It should be a great time to be in Paris. Hopefully you'll get good weather and the city will be all beautiful and blooming.
Congratulations! How long will you be in Paris for? There's plenty to do in the city to fill and entire lifetime, but I would highly recommend doing one organized tour day trip outside of Paris. There are a number of good options such as visiting the D-Day beaches of Normandy (done it, was awesome) touring castles of the Loire Valley (friend did it, was the best day of her trip) or going to Champagne for a little bubbly tasting (did it but took a car and went on our own, you could rent one and do this, very fun).
There is so much to see in France that it would be a shame to limit yourself just to Paris. Plus, the nice thing about an organized tour is that for one day at least you don't have to do all the planning. It can be a nice break.
Thanks! We just found our flight last week, I'm so excited! We'll be in Paris for 5 days and 4 nights before we fly to Prague, and I agree- we're planning on taking at least one trip outside of the city. We're actually going to try to see the Catacombs- have you been? Thanks for the post.
Yes, I have been to the catacombs and they are awesome. Totally creepy, but awesome! Definitely a good unique thing to do in Paris.
