Journey To Another Hospital

By Snowloon  |  Location: United States  |  02/27/08

I can now compare a little hospital to a much bigger facility.  Not what I'd like to be doing.  I wanted to travel to my favorite ski area.  An infection set in and it was off to my more local hospital that is suppose to be superior.   I felt like a card in a deck, shuffled here and there, one line to another, left in a wheelchair to wait my turn.  Why are hospitals kept so cold and gowns so inadequate?  The nurses and aides seemed more harried, but very proffesional.  I'm just glad the stay was short.

Lil Bit has been confused by all her care takers and my lack of activity.  I move slowly between my bottles of pills- me the lets not take asprin type.  At least we can now walk out together to get the mail.  Lil Bit looks longingly down the road, wanting to follow the smells.  I'd love to follow her.  The sun has come out, snow is receding.  Next week---
