Pretty lucky to call the Bay Area my home

I've been slammed getting the new site up and tested and I haven't had a chance to reflect on the trip, since returning to the Bay a few weeks ago. Here's what I've taken away:

  1. With the dollar in the toilet and the Euro flying high, Europe is fun but too expensive right now (if you're poor like me).
  2. Asia is unbelievable--vast and saturated with culture...can't wait to get back out there.
  3. The Bay Area is a pretty amazing place to grow up, live, work and come home to.

After wandering the streets of international cities in Europe and exploring islands in Asia, very few places have the appeal of the Bay Area as a home base. There's plenty going on here and the liberal politics, natural beauty and innovative business environment draw tons of really good people. Spending the last couple weeks rediscovering why this place is so amazing has left me feeling pretty lucky to make my life here. It's the perfect mix of opportunity, urban life and outdoor escape.

Some random photos from the last couple weeks here in the Bay...
