Why do I love to travel so much? So far this year, since graduating, I've toured
the Big Sur Natural Reserve, Navadwipa Dhama India (holy places related to Sri
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Srila Govinda Maharaj), Las Vegas Nevada (not only the
strip but most of the critical habitat for the desert tortoise), Santa Cruz
California (Harmony Festival, Golden Road, Santa Cruz Saturday Market), Ozark
National Forest Arkansas (for the Nat'l Rainbow Gathering), Eugene Oregon
(Golden Road Center, Oregon Country Fair, Faerieworlds Festival, String Cheese
Incident at Hornings Hideout, Pickathon Festival) , Philedelphia Pennsylvania
(Kingdom of Vegetarians), Atlantic City New Jersey (Borgata, Showboat, Taj Mahal
Casinos), New York New York (Brooklyn Isckon temple)........and where is my next
adventure? San Jose California....nearby to Santa Cruz where I went to school.
I'm going to be walking around looking at trees and living in the ladies ashram
there....my year (and a half) of travelling with have to end there for a while.
Srila Govinda Maharaj is coming to Santa Cruz in November. I was inspired to
find work and get a place nearby to the Seva Ashram in Santa Cruz...and San Jose
was the nearest place and luckily our Gurudev has one math established there.Infinite love is boundless, and the moment we have the eyes to see
that...how much we can progress? I am trying to open myself to that
divine love that is emanating and surrender. To forget myself and give
myself over wholly to divine love. To be in the most extreme mode of
self forgetfulness, and absorb some teaching from my Divine Master. The
supreme example to follow in our spiritual lives. That perspective and
those words are so subtle and life giving that transformation comes
from that. That subtle character of a higher awareness of reality
consisting of beauty, love, charm, affection. I was writing a lot more about my experiences until my fiance/ex-fiance was distracting me so I wound up writing him some erotic stories instead of writing about my experiences. Now that he's out of the picture again it's funny that I have become inspire to write more about my own experiences. Now that I'm moving to San Jose to live in an ashram, where I will undoubtedly be labled the bad girl, and be exploring an urban area that is full of action and art, something positive will come from my writing I hope. Every advenure leads to new satisfaction, or inner fulfillment (for me anyway).
