At midnight Boston Mayer, Thomas Menino, declared a state
of emergency, closing schools, warning travelers about flight delays and
cancelations and asking residents to stay home.

If you're traveling out of or into this area today and
flying by Continental, you're in luck. Late last night they announced travel
options
effective immediately. If you're scheduled for travel on January 15 to
or from affected airports, you can delay your flight until January 22, without
penalty.
