Why Is National Geographic Traveler Such a Bad Magazine?

National Geographic Traveler is awful. I've had a subscription for about 9 months and will not be renewing it. There are too many short snippets of travel in each issue, and besides some good photography, there is nothing memorable that I can remember between these yellow covers. It is such a far cry from the regular National Geographic, which I love.

You know, I've never gotten into Traveler either - picked it up a few times, but that's about it - whereas like you say, National Geographic is stellar - maybe the best magazine on the planet.
I do like the National Geographic Traveler blog though -
