Best Pizza in NYC
|
The debate over the best pizza in New York City has been raging for decades. Everyone is a critic and everyone has their own opinion. So do I. For me, being a southern transplant and growing up on terrible pizza, my money is on Two Boots. Two Boots is a East Village institution since 1987 and has expanded into several locations, including Grand Central Station. They base their most popular pies on film and tv characters. You can get a Mr.Pink(Chicken, Mozzerella and plum tomatoes), an Earth Mother(Veggie) or perhaps a pie from The Dude(Bacon, cheeseburger). The pies are always hot, fresh and relatively cheap for New York. I would suggest stopping by on your trip to the Big Apple |

Man, I remember coming home from Japan for a one week visit over Thanksgiving and going down to New York to meet up with some buddies from college - went to my friend's place on Bleeker St and drank Sierra Nevada and smoked doobies and watched old movies from college and then went out at 3 am and got slices of the best pizza in the world, just pure wedges of ambrosia - i mean, japan is seriously lacking in three things: pizza, good beer and good buds and it was just bliss.
Thanks for jogging that memory - hope you bust out some new blogs soon -
