This is by far the best airport I have ever been in.  We actually left our hotel early before our flight to Malaysia just so we could hang out here.  Besides great stores and yummy food of all different kinds, there are tons of free things to pass the time. Beautiful gardens invite you to sit and relax, one inside complete with orchids and a koi pond, another outside with bright cheery sunflowers.  There is a free movie theater as well as free internet and X-Box stations. If you have a couple hours to kill, they even offer a free tour of Singapore. If you can spend a little, you can get a massage, a facial, or even rent a space to take a nap. Many times flights to destinations in Asia are significantly cheaper if you go through Singapore, and it's definitely a great place to stop over.
