A Faity Tale trip...

Not that I want to brag, but apart from the upcoming trips we have booked for Porto, Salzburg, Venice, and Normandy, my boyfriend and I are planning a 3-day tour of the Romantic Road in Bavaria, Germany. After indulging in countless pictures and websites that praise this 350-km road full of fairy tale castles and bewitching towns, I can't help but bring out the inner child in me that had always loved and fantasized about the stories of beautiful princesses seeking out their true loves amidst enchanted castles and magic spells. I wonder if I'd look like a freak if I dressed up as a princess for the trip.....would a 28-year old brunette look sane with a 18th century gown and a tiara? Oh well, at least I'm taking my prince charming with me.... Toodles! |
Good luck! The Bavarian countryside is beautiful and--in my opinion--friendlier and more welcoming than the northern-Germans (e.g.: Berliners). Will you be partaking in some Oktoberfest celebrations?

Thanks! I don't think we'll do Oktoberfest this year...too expensive and not enough time to do it. (I've had enough of beer drinking for a while....)
