I am a safe human being in London now.  We are staying at a hostel with suspect hot tub and sauna, but cheap bar.  Man Utd and Barca play tonight, chelsea v lpool tomorrow.  Going to watch with Matthew Wynne over a couple of pints.  Spent the day Looking at Buckingham palace, hyde park, oxford st (with 4 other women, none of which are interested in shopping on one of the most famousest shopping streets in the world, what is this world coming to) and finally British Museum, where tiredness took over.  Tomorrow, the tate and the lobster phone, followed by high tea with the canadian commissioner.  Thursday we launch ourselves in the canoe, and paddle our poor dinky canoe "down the busiest shipping channel in the world!" as a friend (Anna) graciously pointed out.  So this is the beginning.
