Although a holiday that I usually hate, I must spread the word that the Best New Years Eve Ever is in Edinburgh, Scotland. There is nothing more fun then partying at the Hogmany celebration in the pitch dark and in the pouring rain, surrounded by thousands of men in plaid skirts. Finally a city that encourages street partying! The whole city becomes packed full of people singing "The Flower of Scotland...!" all night long until the clock strikes 12. Not to mention the night ends with thousands of strangers sharing kisses and newspaper wrapped cones of fish and chips. MMMM, good.
