I'll see your 200 tsh for a Mango and raise you 100

Today was awesome. Two pedi-ortho cases this am, then off to the market to buy a cellphone -cheap, really easy to do, and I can call the US with it, double sweet. Then some food shopping, I'm too picky of an eater to really do this so I end up just buying whine and fruit juice, which they have an awful lof of here. I also bought some cucumbers, oranges and a mango, which i bartered for, down to 30 cents from 40 cents, pretty sweet deal. *** (Aside: Ok, this is weird, time switch to real time, but there were two deaf kids on my air emirretes flight from new york to dubai, and they just walked into the internet cafe here at Bugando in Mwanza, they are from Wyoming.) *** Anyway, yah, the food here is not bad really, lots of oil, made me a little grumpy at first, but I've adjusted. The yogurt we bought has a slight fishy taste, but it's still pretty good, and there were lots of little black nats in one of the boxes of cereal, but hey i am in frickin Africa, should have some problems. I spent probably half an hour looking for Nutella this morning, everyone had just ran out, likely story. |

So, let me get this straight: your best friends in africa are two deaf kids from wyoming who hoard each container of nutella on the continent and place it in cereal boxes in hopes of attracting gnats, and you call them constantly on your new cellular because it it convenient, cheap and a challenging conversation..? confirm or deny.
