The Swiss Alps and Interloken

Talk about adventure. In the past two days Iäve jumped off a 20 ft cliff into glacier water, slid down a waterfall, zip lined through a canyon cavern, repelled down a 150ft cliff, whitewater rafted, and loved every second of it. Interloken is absolutely beautiful. Sometimes its hard for me to believe that I'm actually looking at the Swiss Alps, and that I'm not on some movie set. The backdrop of the mountains is incredible. They are covered in lush forests, waterfalls, and capped with ice and snow. We went canyoning through Grimssel Canyon about an hour north of Interloken. Our tour guides were awesome, one from New Zealand and one from about 10 minutes up the mountain. We all had nicknames on our helmets and mine was (donät look mom and dad) "PORNSTAR." Clay, one guide, said it was "random assignment." We went white water rafting down one of the rivers that runs from the glacier and the water was FREEZING. Luckily the only time we were in the water was a voluntary ride down the current holding onto the raft- that lasted for about 5 mintues. We are here for two more days and still deciding what to do next. There is an even harder COnyoning trip that we might take, but we're also thinking about some mountain biking or canyon jumping...whatever we decide, if I live through it, I'll be sure to tell you how it is.
