I swore I would neer work another New Year's Eve but found myself at it again. I tried to do something nice for the employees and clients. We hooked up a small projector (borrowed from a client) and was able to project a countdown clock. We gave out Redd's alcohalic cider (because no one buys it) and had music on our less than adequate sound system. At 1 minute and 10 seconds to the new year, Nick, our accountant, started counting down as a joke. I guess most of the people here cannot tell time so everyone joined in the count down and proceded to pop their balloons one minute early. I was running around saying "not yet, not yet!" but they were too caught up in their own excitement. Oh well, it's definitely one I will remember. Damn it Nick. :)
