Here I am in Singapore, having enjoyed a nice long walk down Orchard Street shopping and going out to Clarke Quay dancing to live Carribean music (it's now 2 am). I would write more, but I am TIRED. I bought two pairs of shoes and moved my flight to Indo up one day so I can spend more time traveling around the islands...

I tried to post a photo of the dance club called "Mama's Carribean," but it won't upload. I will try to send along some photos next time...

In the meantime, I will be moving hostels for my last night here in Singapore. Then it's push ahead to Jakarta (Java) - Denpasar (Bali) tomorrow. I am hoping to spend my 2+ weeks in Indonesia doing the following:

1. surf in Bali
2. fly to Sumba and surf
3. fly or ferry to Flore; sightsee in Flores, moving West to East
4. visit Komodo (see the dragons)
5. visit Lombok (maybe do some trekking around the volcano)
6. surf in Bali and head to Sydney

We'll see if I can actually squeeze all that activity in to 16 days. I am eager to begin this leg of the trip!
