Just a short introduction to explain how I started out on the travelling trail...
I was 18 and had 6 months unpaid leave to explore Africa, so with my backpack, camera and some cash I set out to explore Africa, that was 22 years ago and I am still in Africa, I have visited most of the countries on the continent, been caught up in wars, unloaded food from UN trucks, fallen down cliffs, chased by all kinds of wild animals, had my vehicle blown up by a landmine, suffered malaria, seen babies born, seen people/friends die, locked up in cells, climbed mountains, dived depths, been hungry, been full to bursting, fallen in love, broken my heart, seen the most wonderful places, met some amazing poeple and would do it all again.
hopefully I can share some of these travels.
