My recent travel in Iligan City, approximately two hours from Cagayan de Oro City, was a success. As a journalist I interviewed a religious leader who had recently pronounced that she was the Annointed One by the Almighty Father. Her name was Dr. Salvacion Legaspi-Kempe, head elder of the Gospel Ministry of the Holy Spirit for Salvation (GMHSS). Her Majesty Sally, as called by her followers was very articulate during our conversation. In fact she told me she had been to Europe and the United States before she came back to the Philippines few years ago. Last year she inaugurated close to fifty million castle she owned. She said this was the kingdom of the new heaven and the new earth. 

Iligan as industrialized city

Iligan City was also named as the "Industrialized City of the South" There were big industries in this city such as the Holcim Cement, a distributor of cement all over the Philippines. Iligan is also the home of Maria Christina Falls visited by hundreds of visitors from all over the country and other foreign nationals from the United States. The Iligan Steel, manufacturing plant for steel can be found also in Iligan City.
