Hi everyone,

We have been re-visiting the city of Stavanger and its environs these past couple of days (we were here last in 2003). Walking around the city centre, doing a little bit of shopping, going to the beach even though it was too cold and windy to take a dip... Relaxing and enjoying our vacation, really. Owen has been spoiled; most of our purchases (it seems) have been for him because there are a lot of cute things for kids here. We had dinner with Siv Jane's brother and his family yesterday. The kids are all grown up now (11 and 4) and very cute with their blond hair and blue eyes. Today we will visit with Siri (Siv Jane's friend) and have dinner with her and her family. Josh, Siv Jane and Mat all went to Stavanger to run a few errands so I am left alone with Owen who is napping now. They are stopping at the fish market to buy fresh shrimp and crab claws for dinner. I can't wait... Tomorrow we are flying to Oslo for 2 nights.
