New Years Eve in Hong Kong

Earlier this afternoon I was surfing at Big Wave Bay on Hong Kong Island! A small bay w/ little waves pealing down the line. It's no Pipeline, but it is so refreshing to get in the water, make a couple turns and give thanks for all the expieriences I have racked up over the past seven months on the road. I sailed the Fijian Islands in the hunt for surf, dirtbiked in New Zealand, got towed in to huge shore break in Australia, surfed perfect waves all throughout Indo., got certified for SCUBA diving in Thailand, ziplined through the jungle canopy in Laos and now I am having the greatest time ever in HK. Tonight a fireworks show will take place over the harbor. Buildings on both sides of the harbor battle eachother with powerful beams of light and dressed up multi-colored buildings. A day before the ball drops in NYC. Happy New Year to all! Thank you to all who have made my journey possible and to those I have met along the way. Go Get Some! Lace up your boots and hit the road! Go Matador! '07
