With the snow in the mountains receding and the rain clouds clearing, my wonder lust for a new adventure returns with the assurance of summer.  Final exams have now wound down and I have replaced the usual grind of a summer job and yard work, with school work and the promise of an adventure.  In two weeks, 27 other bright eyed tourists and I will journey among the ruins and archaeological sites of Greece.  We will stand side by side among the ruins of the acropolis in Athens as we search for the goddesses and heroines of Ancient Greece.  This trip is part of a package of courses put on through North Island College on Vancouver Island.  This package incorporates a travel writing course, a Greek mythology course, and a Greek archeology course.We are currently in the middle of a pre-trip blitz of reading, writing, and packing in preparation for our tour of Greece.  The energy is unbearable as the trip nears closer and the reality of the hot Grecian sun warms our hearts and spirits.
