After over a year of faithfully reading everything they’ve
published (plus a fair chunk of their archive), dutifully sending them tips for
their blog, and generally driving my friends and family crazy by obsessing
about their site, I’ve just been hired as a freelance blogger by the good people at World Hum!

I’ll be writing between three and five blog posts per week,
and my first entries should go up tomorrow or the day after. If you’re not
already a regular World Hum reader, I hope you’ll stop by and check it out!

I’ll also be contributing occasional posts (2 or 3 per
month) to Rolf Potts’ Vagablogging, which I’m also really really excited about.

Between these two gigs and finding Matador, it’s been a
great month on the travel writing front. This whole thing is starting to feel
less and less like a crazy pipe dream…
