To book or not to book?

Finally booking flights to Bermuda, I went to bed at 3 am
last night. Like a woman possessed, I'd obsessed over this decision for the
last few days; rationalizing it and trying to convince myself it was essential
to my wellbeing. I deserve it for working so hard and....? Wait! the year only started five weeks ago!. Considering the fact I'd just returned from Stockholm a week ago, my addiction finally surfaces in full force. It is apparent that the bug bite has morphed into something much bigger with an aggressive voice. A voice demanding that I pay homage to it with a round-the-world trip very soon. It is now fully contagious. We depart for Bermuda in just over two weeks. The travel bug is unforgiving. Once you're bitten, you're destined to live a life roaming the earth, looking to appease it. It drains you of materialistic wealth, yet fills and nourishs you with inner wealth that sustains. It replaces earthly possessions with creativity, fortitude, and treasures borne from cultural experiences and truly living your fullest, richest life. I’d have it no other way. |

Well said, Lola! When I was younger I thought that once I'd gotten all the traveling out of the way I could move on, but now I can't imagine not going on a big trip every year. It definitely puts everything into perspective. While some people would rather spend their money on big-screen TVs and luxury cars and all that, I'd much rather discover unknown lands and become a wealthier person through my experiences than possessions. Have fun in Bermuda!
I'll be looking forward to your blogs!
If the question is to book or not to book, the answer is always to book. ;0
