I'm working on a new website and am planning a Travellers Writers section, I can't pay (wish I could, and hope to one day).

Please don't berate me for this, I also have to make the decision whether to submit articles for free.

Recommendations for an SLR

I'm trying to save up to buy a digital SLR and was looking for some feedback from those of you who have one. I'm looking at Canon and Nikon specifically. The Canon Rebel XTi looks like my favorite right now, though it's suggested price is around $600.
