Stream of conscience from a 6 day hike in Torres Del Paines, Chile. (Torrizzle Del Pizzle to the lay person)

Day 2: Apparently it snows and water freezes when it is below 32 degrees. I also received confirmation that snow becomes quite fluffy when it's below 20. My tent...

All week I have been preparing for a camping trip in the Southern Part of Chile. It has been an 8 hour a day job trying to buy hiking gear in foreign stores. I analyzed the hell out of what tent to buy. I finally settled on a solo tent and then realized I didn't fit in it, so i had to return it for a...

I had lunch with one of the most powerful men in Chile yesterday. Unfortunately, prior to our meal, I wasn't entirely aware of this. Agustin was a friend of my Aunt from college and he is certainly one of those "post-college-success-stories" you read about. He is the owner and director of "El Mercurio",...

MARCH 12, 2006. Last night I decided to see what goes on in Santiago until 7:30 this morning. For those unfamiliar, this game...
