Our one-day program in Villa Soldati

We will take a walk through the shantytown and you will be able to take a closer look at their houses, a community center, various micro-enterprises, and workshops. We will also have lunch together and taste typical Paraguayan or Bolivian food.

During our walk through the villa, we will be accompanied by people that live in the barrio to help ensure our safety. After lunch, we will go to the community center to help the children with their schoolwork.

We can also arrange a time for you to come on Saturdays when there is a large, open-air market that we can visit.

The cost includes transportation, meal, a bilingual guide, a guide from the barrio, photos of your volunteer work, and supplies for the workshops and for making afternoon snacks. The one-day program lasts approximately 4 hours.
