Our Mission:

SOLRISA helps communities through volunteers, project development and through partnerships to provide technical and financial support. Our programs are developed to promote intercultural exchange, bring a positive contribution and development in low income communities to help support and strengthen local organizations.

What We Do:

Our main goals are:

How you can support SOLRISA

How You Can Help:

1. People can come to Brazil to VOLUNTEER in one of our (partner) projects;
2. People can help as an ONLINE volunteer;
3. People can help us create awareness and fundraise for our projects in their home country.

Featured Project:

In September 2007 we finalized our AWARD winning (Terre des Femmes) pilot project: changing a dangerous, poluted garbagebelt into a a beautiful park with Botanic Garden.

Now we work with an association who started a school for underpriviledged children. Around 30 children come to this school everyday. For Christmas we helped them to provide all the children with a cup of milk during the whole year.
The next step is the purchase of a computer and a copy machine and to double the number of children that can attend the school. We need 2.200 euro for the equipment and another 15.000 euro for materials, staff and some maintenance.
