Outdoor outreach is committed to providing comprehensive outdoor experiences for at-risk and underprivileged youth. We collaborate with more than 30 community-based organizations to serve youth in San Diego County who are at risk for school dropout, substance abuse, violence, and unintended pregnancy. Some of our partners include drug rehabilitation programs, foster care facilities, inner-city public schools, youth homeless shelters, youth refugee programs, and juvenile justice service programs. Since its founding in 2001, Outdoor Outreach has taken more than 3,000 youth on more than 750 outings, including rock climbing, snowboarding, backpacking, and surfing.
