Our Mission: Our mission is to help the hill tribe people of Northern Thailand to improve their life and fight issues such as poverty and lack of citizenship. We believe in helping people help them self and although we recognize that inevitably the hill tribe cultures will change, we aim to help the change occur under the control of the hill people themselves and in a way that they can retain some of their unique cultural identity, whilst also gaining the benefits of the modern world.
What We Do: We employ a number of projects to help the peoples of our area make a better life for themselves while still retaining their cultural identities. We believe that with a strong, active community the hilltribes can make the transition to a beneficial coexistence with lowland Thai society and combat such issues as drug abuse, erosion of culture and trafficking of women and children.
