Our Mission:
The GYNPAD represents and advocates for the needs and interests of all young people, and especially youth organizations, to participate actively in the development of just, harmonious and sustainable societies.

What We Do:
The programs of GYNPAD are mainly working the field of:

1. Peace and Development

2. Community Development

3. Youth participation/ Active Citizenship

Peace and Development

In the line of promoting peace and development education, we organized local community activates. Our approach is to use non-formal education to promote non violent attitudes and behavior, values and ways of life, how to respond to violence promote community forum dialogue, and encouraged youth to participate in non-formal peace education with the aim of promoting human rights, democracy an interschool debate that addressed political and social disparities, in order to bring sustainable development and exchange peaceful ideas and concerns for Human Rights. Supporting their education is an important cornerstone to encourage active citizenship.

Community Development

GYNPAD network is closely linked to the local communities. Our members and volunteers at the ground know about the needs of their communities and provide direct action in cooperation with them. The actions can vary from the construction of community buildings, environmental conservation to the support local civil society institutions. We believe that young people make valuable contributions in commitment, creativity, skills, and knowledge. Their participation facilitates the development in areas of need in the local communities. Working with and living in the community stimulates a reciprocal learning process and an exchange of skills and experiences.

Youth participation/ Active Citizenship

The interest and the participation of young people are crucial contributions for a society of peace, justice, and self determination. They should be encouraged to think critically about their role in society and their potential as agents for change. It is important for young people to learn how to become involved in the life and concerns of their local neighborhood and communities. Equally, young people are learning through community involvement and service about institutions, issues, problems and practices of community members (NGOs, social projects, social centers, etc.), and how they can make a change as citizens through their skills, values, and knowledge. The best way of learning about active citizenship is through real experiences in the community projects of our member and partner organizations. GYNPAD members and partners offer a diversity of projects to become involved: peace, social justice, anti-racism, environmental work, cultural heritage, etc.
