Our Mission:
The Network represents and advocates for the interest of youths and youth groups, to develop the skills and experience of young people and participate actively in the development of just, harmonious and sustainable societies.

What We Do:
Current projects and programs

(1) Youth Health Conversation Project:
Youth Health Conversation Project is a project designed for student-led advocacy campaign for access to HIV/AIDS information, education and services, especially among under-served youth.
Four of the targets outlined in the UNGASS Declaration of Commitment are also indicators for measuring the implementation of the MDGs:
 Knowledge about HIV/AIDS among young people
 Condom use among young people
 Current school attendance among orphans
 HIV prevalence among young people
Achieving the Millennium Development Goals depends on progress in turning around the HIV/AIDS epidemic and, conversely, success in the response to the epidemic will not be possible without achievement of the MDGs.
Investing in expanding and accelerating access to HIV prevention programs for young people is fundamental to achieving this commitment.
(2) African Student Initiative Project (ASIP)
(3) Sport For Peace
is a project register under the action plan of Global Youth Network for Peace And Development, the project is designed to help youths construct critical understanding of themselves and their responsibilities for those around them, and also to understand their individual roles in building a just and peaceful society through sport.

GYNPAD aims to provide high quality peace education for youths. The networks encourage youths to think about peace, so that they can find commonality and build friendship through working together for the common good. To reflect on their own roles and responsibilities to create a more peaceful society, and to closely examine society around them.

(4) LEADERSHIP:
We network with organizations and individuals to address community issues, and to develop leadership skills and active citizenship. Youth learn to develop their own initiatives for social change in their communities and school. So that today’s youth can become leaders in their communities and country in the future. GYNPAD give youth a platform to let their voice be heard, and press the need for changes with decision-makers.
