Our Mission:
To provide assistance and support to institutionalized and post-institutionalized teenagers, as we facilitate their integration into Romania’s society.

What We Do:
Fundatia COTE Romania serves Romania's forgotten children in the Iasi region - teenagers who were abandoned as babies and housed in dreary state-run institutions.
We have developed the "Pathway Approach" to help the children recover from the isolation of institutional living and integrate them into society. We provide the teenagers with residential care in one of our Iasi Living Units, Iasi Apartments, or Goruni Farm. We also provide them with counseling and consulting, education and training, mentoring, group learning, and crisis intervention.

We read through your profile and would be glad to partner / work with you.send us mail if you are interested.

BYF is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization. BYF’s main programme is a long-term youth exchange, which is founded on principles of global education and intercultural learning. Through volunteer/intern other non-formal education opportunities; our programme aims to address social and educational needs of today’s youth, by enhancing young people’s sensitivity towards social and cultural differences, as well as their self-confidence and problem solving abilities.
What We Do: Volunteer/intern in different types of voluntary service organizations working/dealing with disadvantaged children, youth, disabled, rural developments, health education, ecological projects, arts and culture, women’s groups and solidarity projects. BYF mission is to promote youth mobility and international understanding through short and long-terms voluntary service exchange programme.

One of our aims is to promote girl child education. We have an African proverb that says” if you educate a man you educate an individual but if you educate a woman you educate the whole nation”. How can we achieve this? We would be able to do by sponsoring brilliant but needy girls in schools. Financing women to start a trade to be able to take care of her family. Yes! Her family. Most of African women in the rural areas support their families. Why? Because some (most) men in these community marry more than one by so the first wife(wives) are neglected making them responsible for caring of the house and children in every aspect for instance education, health, shelter, food, clothing etc. A child in a broken home will lead them into so many problems. With all these problems which are possible to be encountered by these children, they end up doing all sort of activities are dangerous to their life. Such of these bad activities include prostitution, child labour, teenage pregnancy etc. With your help and support we would be able to help these less privileged families with their basic needs.
