Our mission at Darn Good Digs is to create a world-wide community of travelers to share amazing, independently and locally owned accommodations.

Darn Good Digs are those accomodations that wow you with their spectacular location, scrumptious food, and great vibes. They may or may not be on the tourist track, and they may or may not have televisions, a spa, or luxury linens, but the owners have unique visions and they are darn good. All Darn Good Digs have rooms that are between US$1 and $150.

An important part of what makes Darn Good Digs so good is that they are part of the fabric of the community. All Darn Good Digs are independently owned, and nearly all are locally owned. If the owners live elsewhere, they demonstrate a commitment to the community by investing in projects aimed at improving the lives of those who live there.

In order to ensure that our selection process is unbiased, we are not a booking service and we do not accept any compensation from accommodations. Darn Good Digs are just plain darn good.
