To contribute towards the development and empowerment of children, youth and communities through engaging them in sport and development activities that foster and promote positive behaviour lifestyles

Overall Aim: To use sport and physical activities as a tool for HIV/AIDS Prevention and life skills education for children and the youth in and around the project sites.

Mission Statement: To prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among children and young people through sport and physical activities that incorporated with HIV/AIDS prevention and health education and life skills education that empower them to lead to healthy life style.

Vision: A Zambian society were children, young people and communities are empowered to lead healthy life styles free of HIV/AIDS, Stigma and discrimination and social injustices

Theme: Using Sport for Social Development

Motto: Educating Children. Equipping Youth. Empowering Communities

What We Do:

Beyond Sport’s programmes exists around three themes namely sport, health and education all embracing the following aims:
 To stimulate the interest and Increase the participation of children and youth taking part sports and physical activities at community level.
 To use sport as a tool for communication, mobilization and social integration by integrating health, social and life skills education.
 Advocate for and increase girl’s participation in sport and physical and activities at community level.

To use the power of sport and physical activities as a tool for communication, mobilisation an social integration, as well in HIV/AIDS Prevention and life skills education for children and the youth in and around the project sites. BSI activites targets children and youth both in the urban and rural areas of Monze district in southern province of Zambia.

Beyond Sport, Inc relies on donor and individual support for it to operate effectively and efficiently. Please help support our work by making a financial contribution, in kind donations and or by donating new or used sports equipment for our sports programmes. Over 95% of the funds raised go directly into programmes with a minimum on administrative costs. Your financial or material support will help provide more playing opportinities for kids of Monze. Be it one time or on going, all gifts are important to the work of the organization and would make a big difference and help improve the lives of rural children and youth of Zambia.

The Global Exchange through Sport is designed to use sports as a meduim for for the development and promotion of cultural exchange programmes between organisation of different nations with an overall aim of promoting youth participation in sports at community level integrated with health and life skills education.

Commando stars is a Christian’s football soccer club affiliated to mbuinzau matambya muonza community based organization, it is situated about 200 kilometers south east of Nairobi the capital city of the Republic of KENYA.

AIM
The aim of starting this club was to convert the youth of Mbuinzau and its surroundings to be honest and good citizens of this country.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
Goals and objectives of this club are:-
Assisting the youth of this community in discovering their talents in soccer
Making the youth actors of their own developments
Meeting with youth from other area and learn more from their counterparts
Teaching them about soccer and its benefits
Teaching them how to encounter their day today problems
Teaching them about Jesus Christ and the good news
Sensitizing them about their rights
Creating awareness of HIV/AIDS
Fighting domestic violence
Teaching them to socialise with the rest of the world.
Eliminating early marriages among the youth etc

CURRENT ACTIVITIES
Mbuinzau matambya muonza community based organization, organizes tournament for all the youth within Kibwezi Division and use this forum as a meeting of all the youth so as to get them in large numbers and enhance the cbo’s objectives and goals,
Plans for income generating activities are underway through resources of financing the laid down plans is quite cumbersome.
Advanced plans for local drummers is also set down including local kamba traditional dances to support kamba culture which is slowly fading up.
Community policing is also our youth activity because a lot of criminal events are happening because of poverty, mixture of people from different places that has come to reside here.
We have also planted some trees at Mbuinzau primary school using the youth but due to lack of enough water the project is not doing well.

ACHIEVEMENTS
i) We have been successful in Eradicating drug abuse among our youth through this forums
ii) We have also eliminated early marriages and early pregnancies
iii) Discpline has been maintained
iv) Community policing has been smooth
v) The youth has made a lot of friends and socializing is adequate
vi) Awareness of HIV/aids his being enhanced smoothly and now very few deaths of HIV /aids are reported
vii) The youth now have started being strong in facing their day today life’s

Currently we are meeting at our primary school grounds where soccer is taught and counseling is done

From Tuesday to Friday time 5pm to 6.30 pm
Saturday and Sundays – Tournaments as per local fixtures
