To improve educational standards and quality of life in developing areas in Ecuador.

What We Do:

We supply educational and sport equipment to local schools and our volunteers assist teachers with lessons and extra curricular activities. During school holidays the project is involved with community development schemes and runs a summer school.

How You Can Help:

You can help buy volunteering with our project. We are looking for imaginative and enthusiastic volunteers keen to make a long-lasting difference to the children and families of the area. Any donations of funds or equipment will be allocated to one of the many schools around Arajuno, who are desperate for your help.

Featured Project:

We are currently trying to construct a travelling library, supplying books (in English and Spanish) to all of the schools along the Arajuno Road. There are currently no library facilities at any of the schools, and our project aims to supply a library bus that visits each of the schools and give the children a change to enhance their reading skills.

Volunteer with the Arajuno Road Project from the 31st March 2008. The cost of a placement is just £50 ($100) a week until 30th August 2008. The price includes food and accomodation!
