HEALTH PROGRAMME:-
AID INDIA gives more opportunities to the clients to have first hand knowledge about health along with treatment facilities at dispensary level. If the diseases are serious, proper reference is given to the clients. The health worker goes to the villages and gives the services at their doors.

AWARENESS GENERATION:-
As the women groups in the villages lack awareness in the field of Health, Education, Family Planning, Utilization of local resources for Income Generation and Human Rights, Aid India gives awareness to its clients on the above issues.

GRAMA VASANTHAM (Micro Credit Programme)
The aim of this programme is socio economic development of the poor. The beneficiaries are either poor women or poor people with disabilities. The salient features of this programme are Collective responsibility, Collateral free financial support, Frequent meeting & sharing, Unanimous decision, Income Generation, Easy installments for repayment, Self confidence, Sustainability, Self-reliance, Minimised cost of micro-credit service, Poverty alleviation and Independent execution of activities. “Grama Vasantham” is undertaken and implemented exclusively by experienced professionals.

PROGRAMMES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Community Based Rehabilitation Programme for the PWDs is being implemented by Aid India. In the CBR centre, various kinds of activities like counseling, vocational training, awareness on health & human rights and Income Generating Activities are given.

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO PWDs
Aid India extends its support to the students with disabilities who undergo various courses by means of fee, supply of educational materials and dresses.

SKILL TRAINING TO THE PWDs
They get training in the trades in which they are interested according to the physical fitness and interest. The decision with regard to the selection of income generating activities is taken unanimously in the meetings.

ORPHANAGE AND SHE HOME
Orphans are taken care of in the orphanage namely ISLAND OF HOPE in Virudhunagar. "She Home" is based in Satankulam which is run for girls who are mainly child labour and belonging to suppressed caste in the society.
