I know you're out there!
If you have a special interest in solar power and have found a way to work this into your travels-- either volunteering to install solar power units in the place you visit or traveling as part of your work-- please send me a message via Matador or to
I'd like to feature some of the work you do in an article for a new Matador blog that'll be rolling out soon.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Solar panels are one of the primary energy sources used by the sailing set. Panels are placed on the deck and moved as necessary. We used them on every boat I crewed on in the Sea of Cortez.

I've also used solar power to recharge a dead car battery, both in Baja and at the Strawberry Music Festival in Yosemite (I was jamming out to the new CD I'd purchased from the Zydeco band who'd just played that afternoon, and wore out the juice in my little 4-Runner).
