Hi there, those of you who are familiar with my blogs will know that I have recently opened a hostal in Mompox Colombia (www.lacasaamarillamompos.blogspot.com). Things are going well and we are going from strength to strength as our reputation grows.

Here's the deal, we need someone - or a couple - to manage the business for several months at a time and in the absence of having found anyone ideal in the local area of Mompox are widening the net.

Income is such that we cannot pay, but we can offer, room, internet access and a stipend for food. You would have to manage the cleaning lady, register the guests, attend to any and all problems and basically be the fountain of all knowledge for those travellers coming through. While the job is not taxing it does comsume some time since things in this part of Colombia take longer than you'd imagine.

Most travellers enter Colombia on a three month tourist visa so in order to minimise complications we would ask for a minimum commitment of two months, giving you a further month to explore this wonderful country. If of course you wanted longer, then you could either extend your visa or do the whole skip across the border for a weekend and return.

Ideally the first recruits could start in July.
